Robots and robot adjacent
Artists tend to have periods of intense inspiration and growth. One of my personal Cambrian explosions came during a now-canceled scifi mmo.
However, the art featured here is a far cry from what originally inspired it, and intentionally. The game and community were really more of a springboard that flung my creative mindset into deep space.
The most featured subject is a squishy, blue robot that I used as the face of my interactions with other players. Elaborate outfits, giant robots, strange encounters, odd comics... fleshing her out gave me a focal point through which I could grow as an artist.
Although it is a little embarrassing, this bouncy Cambrian explosion will show my skill and consistency.
